WebCTRL Bootcamp

The WebCTRL Bootcamp is a week-long combination of the WebCTRL Essentials and the WebCTRL Tools courses.

The following is a breakdown of the information covered in each of the two combined courses. This bootcamp is hosted at the PC Automated Controls headquarters in El Paso, Texas. For any questions, please reach out to Aaron Ruth at aruth@pcautomatedcontrols.com.

WebCTRL Essentials (formerly Owner/Operator I) | Factory Certified Class

This course is a great place to start your WebCTRL journey! If you have little or no experience with the Automated Logic WebCTRL system or you’ve never attended an Automated Logic training course, WebCTRL Essentials is for you. In this course, you will work with the WebCTRL user interface, create operators and privileges, develop schedules, troubleshoot with alarms and trends, and document using WebCTRL’s reporting features. Higher-end topics are also included.

If you have little or no experience with the ALC WebCTRL® system, this class is for you. The WebCTRL Essentials course has been developed for users of a WebCTRL system to immediately and effectively utilize the essential features of a Building Management System.

Traditional Classroom: A live instructor will lead up to 6 students (course dependent) in hands-on exercises with minimal lecture in between. Using the situated learning techniques of the Kirkpatrick Model, this methodology fosters a collaborative learning environment.

After successfully completing this course, you will be able to use Automated Logic’s® WebCTRL interface to quickly and efficiently.

WebCTRL Tools (formerly Owner/Operator II) | Factory Certified Class

Real life troubleshooting in a WebCTRL system! This course covers installing, basic commissioning, and troubleshooting a WebCTRL system. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to apply these skills, as well as edit a WebCTRL system utilizing EIKON, SiteBuilder, ViewBuilder, and WebCTRL.

Traditional Classroom: A live instructor will lead up to 6 students (course dependent) in hands-on exercises with minimal lecture in between. Using the situated learning techniques of the Kirkpatrick Model, this methodology fosters a collaborative learning environment

After successfully completing this course, you will be able to use Automated Logic’s® entire WebCTRL software suite to quickly and efficiently:
– Engineer a basic Automated Logic WebCTRL system
– Perform essential system and network troubleshooting
– Use the following WebCTRL applications:
– EIKON
– ViewBuilder
– SiteBuilder
– EquipmentBuilder
